SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT is a Christmas slasher classic among some horror fans. It has spawned sequels and two remakes.
The latest remake provides a new twist to the movie with some really good kills. The Nazi Christmas party scene has to be
the highlight of the movie. The movie focuses around a young man who listens to a voice in his head (who might be a spirit)
who tells him who needs to be killed because they're bad. He needs a job and he works at a Christmas store around Christmas
and he falls for the owner's daughter. I did really enjoy this movie and should watch the Vestron Video blu-ray of the SILENT
NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT 3,4, and 5 later this year. Please bring on a sequel.
SPECIAL FEATURES:
SILENT NIGHT, DEALY NIGHT: UNWRAPPING A NEW LEGACY- a behind-the-scenes featurette with cast and crew on this new remake
Theatrical trailer
FINAL ANALYSIS:I really enjoyed this remake of SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT. I do wish they did a better theatrical rollout
for the movie because I would have loved to have seen this in the theaters, I hope this movie does get a sequel given where
the movie ends. I do wish the movie had more extras including an audio commentary because it doesn't seem like much of a
Collector's Edition with a featurette and a trailer. Now I probably should go watch the Vestron Video release of SILENT
NIGHT DEADLY NIGHT 3, 4, AND 5 later this year.
