MOONAGE DAYDREAM is a stream of conscious look through the music career and philosophy of David Bowie. It includes interviews,
bits from music videos and his performances in movies, and never before seen live performances to make this documentary which
is nice complimentary piece to DAVID BOWIE- FIVE YEARS. MOONAGE DAYDREAM goes back and forth in time as it peels back to
look at how David Bowie's sound changed over the years as he looked for longevity in his music career from the 1970s to his
death in 2016. This is one of the best documentaries I have seen since APOLLO 11. It gives an interesting look at David Bowie
who is always a fascinating person to explore at who he is and the variety in his music over the years. He always lived
a full life through his music and sometimes through acting in movies too. This is a project that got approval from the David
Bowie estate and it took five years to make it.
SPECIAL FEATURES:
The only extra is a theatrical trailer for MOONAGE DAYDREAM
FINAL ANALYSIS: I love MOONAGE DAYDREAM and I may rewatch it at some point. I do wish there was a making-of documentary
on the project and even an audio commentary.
