THE CASE OF THE BLOODY IRIS is an entertaining and thrilling giallo I never heard of. The women are beautiful, it is very gory, and you got some of the worse policemen in a movie. Photo models Jennifer and Marilyn move into an apartment which was once the home of another beautiful girl who was murdered in the same apartment building. Jennifer has left her polygamous husband who wanted her apart of a sex cult. She didn't want any of it as he starts to stalk her while a killer is stalking her.

THE CASE OF THE BLOODY IRIS is an Italian thriller I never heard of, but it has beautiful women, dumb policemen, a man who wants a relationship, and a killer that the cops don't know how to catch. The story doesn't make the best of sense since a giallo is more known focusing on other elements.

The transfer is a high bit rate one on the 4K ranging from 75 Mps to low 90Mbs. Some 4K players may need to stop and start when the disc freezes which it did at least a couple of times.

FINAL ANALYSIS: THE CASE OF THE BLOOODY IRIS is for fans of Giallo. Celluloid Dreams has knocked it out of the park with a great inaugural title. They are a label to watch.
