A teenager with an unusual eating habit sees a healer (Lance Henrikson) with unusual powers to heal he stole from a Native American grave. That experience gives the kid the ability to be invulnerable and whatever force thrown at him to be reflected back at his attacker.

THE UNHEALER is another horror movie that belongs in the type of place where you come across it in a video store to rent it or find it on a channel or streaming service. You have a couple of supporting cast members who you wish were more active in the movie like Lance Henrikson (who chews the scenery in every scene). You have a good twist ending that makes you wish for a sequel.

FINAL ANALYSIS: THE UNHEALER is good for at least a rental or streaming choice for a movie that feels like the type of horror movies I would see in the 1990s and late 1980s.
