BLACK WIDOW is the long delayed solo movie for the character of Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johnasson) aka the Black Widow. Marvel Studios didn't have enough faith to do a movie on the character until now. WONDER WOMAN beat BLACK WIDOW to the punch and Marvel was dead set on having CAPTAIN MARVEL being the first solo female Superhero movie. BLACK WIDOW takes place between CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR and AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR as it digs deep into the origins of the character as she drawn back to the program she thought she had destroyed. She reunites with the fake sister (Florence Pugh) who was brainwashed until recently. They are hunted by Taskmaster who wants the antidote to the drug that controls the girls in the Black Widow program. BLACK WIDOW is a fun and energetic action movie which I wish Marvel had made with the character at least five years ago.

FINAL ANALYSIS: BLACK WIDOW is a very enjoyable action drama that is long overdue. Too bad Marvel Studios didn't make it sooner.
