The Flint series is a very cool series of two films. Austin Powers doesn't even come close to the coolness factor in OUR MAN FLINT and IN LIKE FLINT. It comes down to how they wrote the films and the performance of James Coburn as spy Derek Flint. Flint is a super spy working for Z.O.W.I.E. (Zonal Organization of World Intelligence Espionage). He has a cigarette lighter with 83 different functions (one being able to light a cigar). He fights against Galaxy (scientists who want to take over the world by controlling the weather) and an anti-American bald eagle while deprogramming female pleasure units in OUR MAN FLINT. He must rescue the President of the united States from a group of women who want to take over the world in the sequel, IN LIKE FLINT. The FLINT films are tremendous over-the-top fun. Without Derek Flint, Austin Powers wouldn't exist. Flint had multiple girlfriends and knew several different things.

SPECIAL FEATURES: Each film has an audio commentary by film historians Eddie Friedfeld and Lee Pfeiffer. They talk about the films and other movies/shows in the spy genre.

Disc 3 has the horrible FLINT TV pilot called OUR MAN FLINT: DEAD ON TARGET. Skip it. The nine featurettes are very fun and you even get an extended 6 1/2 minute trailer for OUR MAN FLINT and a trailer for each film in addition to trailers for THE CHAIRMAN, THE QUILLER MEMORANDUM, DEADFALL, PEEPER (a different one from the one on other Fox discs), and THE MAGUS
