SYNOPSIS (from Amazon.com): A pseudo-post-apocalypse Survivor-type game show brings five sexy young people (a bitchy vegan, a loudmouth skateboarder, a lesbian marine, a straight-laced jock, and a slutty...uh...apparently, she's just a slut) to the Appalachian woods, where inbred mutant humans start picking them and the TV crew off. Also along for the ride is the tough-as-nails host (Henry Rollins, Bad Boys II), who goes native and starts hunting the inbred mutant humans.

ANALYSIS: WRONG TURN 2 is an impressive DTV. you got some very gory kills, exposed breasts, and Henry Rollins playing my favorite character of the movie. The only downfall of this DTV is that I hated the inbred family (they were lame) and WRONG TURN 2 follows the unfortunate pattern of too many recent horror movies (where the most annoying people are the ones left alive at the end). Also I wish they had more on the reality show, The Apocalypse, before ditching it for the inbred family killing people off one by one. WRONG TURN 2 is worth checking out just for the impressive kills and Henry Rollins.

SPECIAL FEATURES: Director Joe Lynch, Henry Rollins, and Erica Leershsen are on the audio commentary for the film. It is a rather fun track to listen to. WRONG TURN 2: MAKING GORE LOOK GOOD is the featurette that takes a beind-the-scenes look at the kill sequenbces, the special effects make-up, and has interviews with cast and crew. The other extra is a 35 second Full Frame trailer for WRONG TURN 2 (too bad there were no trailers for other horror movies or WRONG TURN).

FINAL ANALYSIS: WRONG TURN 2 stand on it's own as a great DTV sequel with it's great kill sequences and Henry Rollins pulling a great performance.
