I wonder what BLADE RUNNER replicant Roy Batty would have thought of this movie. JUST MY LUCK is another movie where Lindsay
Lohan is coasting on her good looks and playing the same character she played before. She is Ashley, the luckiest girl in
Manhattan who happens to work for a PR firm, but her luck changes when she kisses a guy cursed with bad luck. So she searches
for him to get her mojo back while he is having some great luck for once. JUST MY LUCK is an entertaining formula comedy,
but it will never be a classic. It almost comes off at times as a promotion for the band called McFly. I just wonder when
Linsay Lohan will stretch her acting muscles and do something different than comedies. JUST MY LUCK is a by the numbers comedy
where role reversal is involved and the two opposite ends of luck fall for each other. It has many cliches and it is predictabale
fare.
VIDEO: 1.85:1 (Anamorphic Widescreen)/ 1.33:1 (Full Frame)
Yep, it is a dreaded flipper.
AUDIO: English 5.1 Dolby Digital, French 2.0 DS, Spanish 2.0 DS
Subtitles: English, Spanish
SPECIAL FEATURES: The extras are few. The LOOK OF LUCK on side A is a very brief featurette on the costumes of the movie.
Side B plays more attention to behind-the-scenes of shooting the McFly concert sequence. The real meat of the extras are the
three funny deleted scenes on side A. The sushi restraunt scene was my favorite.
FINAL ANALYSIS: If you're looking for a harmless comedy, JUST MY LUCK is your ticket. Other than that, it might just be
a rental to others.
