DAVID BLACKWELL was born in Kalispell, Montana. He always wanted to something creative whether it was writing, photography, or movies. He first created the ENTERLINE MEDIA web site to reflect his love for movies and TV shows by writing articles and reviews. He has had articles published in FLATHEAD LIVING and DISTINCTLY MONTANA. The articles focused on movies that filmed in Montana and the history of the local movie theaters in the Kalispell area.
He started taking photos more when he started taking photography classes at FVCC in 1994. He loves taking pictures in black and white with Ilford XP-2 being his favorite type of 35 mm film to use. For years, he yearned to do something creative. Then he started to get that chance when he took another photography class at the beginning of 2009 and been on independent stufy since then. OCTOBER GOTHIC is part of the creative direction he wants to take his photos. His next photo projects include an interpetation of ALICE IN WONDERLAND and tackling several new photo projects that he is thinking of.
His favorite movies are BLADE RUNNER, AMELIE, ACROSS THE UNIVERSE, THE BIG SLEEP, ALIEN, KISS ME DEADLY, BLUE (part of the Three Colors trilogy), THE CRIMSON RIVERS, HEAT, BATMAN BEGINS, THE DARK KNIGHT, and several others. Favorite shows include DOCTOR WHO, FOREVER KNIGHT, the reimagining of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, LOST, 24, FIREFLY, COUPLING, THE NEWSROOM, MILLENNIUM, MI-5, and WAKING THE DEAD. He loves listening to SHE WANTS REVENGE, NINE INCH NAILS, DEPECHE MODE, and PETER MURPHY. He always looks for new movies, shows, and music to discover. He also loves comic books ranging from WITCHBLADE to the LUTHER ARKWRIGHT comics by Bryan Talbot, Paul Pope's THB, AMERICAN CENTURY, Grant Morrison's THE INVISIBLES, and Nick Fury comics done by Jim Steranko.
