VEROTIKA is definitely the horror movie equivalent of THE ROOM. It feels like writer/ Director Glenn Danzig has been taking pointers form the Tommy Wiseau School of directing. It is a horror movie that is really bad in many parts that it is an accidental comedy. Many of the actors pull off some really bad and stilted performances where the others somehow pull out a decent performance like some of the main female actresses in this horror anthology movie based on the Verotik Comics tales. Danzig tends to allow actors to give bad French accents in one story while most of the movie seems the only real requirement for most female actors is to have big breast. Sadly, this movie doesn't rise to TALES OF THE CRYPT greatness.

SPECIAL FETAURES:
This is a three disc combo pack with the movie in high-definition on blu-ray, the standard definition version on DVD, and the soundtrack CD.

The only extras on the blu-ray are a behind-the-scenes still gallery and the theatrical trailer.

FINAL ANALYSIS: If you want a horror movie so bad that it is sometimes it is funny in its badness, VEROTIKA is the one for you to watch. It has cult movie written over it for the reasons that Glenn Danzig never expected. He though he was doing a great film only to have it turn out to be something as if it was directed by Ed Wood or Tommy Wiseau.
