Takeshi Kitano is the Japanese version
of Clint Eastwood. Kitano has been known to make violent cop films and yakuza films. OUTRAGE (WAY OF THE YAKUZA) is
the latest film from Kitano. Yakuza families scheme against each other and many even meet untimely ends as other Yakuza
scheme to take territory and save face with the head of the Yakuza. Kitano creates a unique yakuza movie from crafting
some great cinematography to manipulating sounds to form the score of the film. OUTRAGE isn't about happy endings because
any of the characters could meet an untimely end due to another's ambition. The film throws one surprise after another
as you wonder what will happen next and who will get killed next.
SPECIAL FEATURES:

to work with Kitano.
CAST PANEL INTERVIEW is with
Kitano and three members of the cast as they answer questions.

a boring affair as the combination of interviews and behind-the-scenes footage and film clips keep it moving.
CANNES "RED CARPET" PREMIERE WITH TAKESHI KITANO is too long and should
have been edited down to half the length.
PREMIERE
Q&A is quite fun as the cast and Kitano start joking around with each other as the Q&A goes on.
also included are the U.S. trailer and International spots.
FINAL
ANALYSIS: OUTRAGE is a brutal tale of cruelty and betrayal as it peers into the under workings of
several yakuza. The interviews are quite interesting and revealing.
