LAW & ORDER UK is finally back with
more episodes on DVD as this season adapts more LAW & ORDER episodes for the UK where I wish they had some original teleplays
that rip straight from the headlines in the UK. Still The good stories
and characters shine through as the end of the season has one character leaving.
Disc two has the best episodes while SKELETONS provides a nice ender for the season.
As much as I like the cops side of the show, I think the courtroom stuff blows it away due to the great actors involved
(Freema Agyeman, Ben Daniels as James Steel (my favorite character on the show), Bill Patterson).
Audio commentaries for MASQUERADE with writer/ producer Richard Stokes and series star Freema Agyeman and HELP with writer/ producer Richard Stokes, writer Terry Cafoll, and director James Strong.
ON THE SET Interviews with CAST- interviews with the two detectives on the show
TAKE A TOUR- Freema Agyeman takes the viewers on the tour of the Old Bailey set (also including an interview with
the production designer) and the wardrobe for the show.
ON THE STREETS OF LONDON- a look
at what it takes to shoot on location in London
Press Interviews with the actors who play
the lawyers and the head police woman in addition to the show's legal advisor.
FINAL ANALYSIS: LAW & ORDER season 2 provides another strong batch of episodes adapted from American LAW &
ORDER shows. I wish they write their own original episodes.
