VICIOUS CIRCLE- the story that bookends the anthology and bridges the various tales as a young man is looking to get the next YouTube viral video as he chases an Ice Cream truck only to have the stakes become personal when his girlfriend is taken by the truck.

DANTE THE GREAT- a mockumentary horror tale about a magician who uses dark magic for his act after he comes upon a demonic cloak.

PARALELL MONSTERS- an inventor manages to open the door to a parallel universe where he encounters himself.  He switches places and gets more than he bargained for.

BONE STORM-  skateboarders go to Mexico to film the next great skateboard video only to fit for their life against a supernatural cult

GORGEOUS VORTEX- the hidden 16 minute short film which plays after the end credits which is like a pop music horror video which is written and direct by Todd Lincoln (who comes off like the offspring of David Fincher and David Lynch combined)

V/H/S: VIRAL is the third movie in the V/H/S horror anthology series and I think it is the best one in the series so far with a great selection of inventive horror shorts made on a low budget as the directors reach beyond the budget limitations and make the movie look like it was shot on a bigger budget.   DANTE THE GREAT and GORGEOUS VORTEX have to be my favorite installments while I did end up liking the jerk skateboarders in BONE STORM due to the frenetic action pace.  This horror anthology series reminds me of TALES FROM THE CRYPT where nothing goes right for the people in our tales.   I do hope there is a fourth in the V/H/S series.

AXS TV: A LOOK AT V/H/S: VIRAL- a two minute promotional fetaurette

FINAL ANALYSIS:   V/H/S: VIRAL is the best one in the horror anthology series with great extras, but I wish they didn’t hide GORGEOUS VORTEX as an Easter egg short film because many will stop the movie and not go through the end credits to find this bonus film.
