THE GRADUATE is a classic. It is one of those iconic films that have seared into pop culture to make it immortal. THE GRADUATE is a expertly directed film with great cinematography, acting, and humor.

Benjamin Braddock (Dustin Hoffman) is a confused college graduate who gets involved with Mrs. Robinson (Anne Bancroft), the wife of one of his Dad's business partner. Mrs. Robinson is cruel and yet unhappy. She is using Ben. She does everything to sabotage Ben's relationship with her daughter (who he falls for). If you haven't sTHE GRADUATE, you should see it for it is one of the classics. It helped inspire many directors and writers in Hollywood. It took off and cemented itself into pop culture. It is immortal.

SPECIAL FEATURES: Two audio commentaries were recorded for the film.

4 featurettes are included on this DVD. The first two were originally made for the 25th anniversary of THE GRADUATE. THE GRADUATE AT 25 and ONE ONE WITH DUSTIN HOFFMAN are the best featurettes of the disc. STUDENTS OF THE GRADUATE and THE SEDUCTION has directors and critics analyze the film. Rounding out the extras are two trailers for the film (including the original theatrical trailer). Also included in the CE is a Bonus Sountrack CD with 4 songs from THE GRADUATE's soundtrack.

FINAL ANALYSIS: THE GRADUATE is still a treat after 40 years with a nice transfer and a few extras.
