SMALLVILLE Season 7 has some strong episodes due to various elements like the Lana and Clark relationship (I love the episode where Lana got some of Clark's powers), the introduction of Supergirl (it gives the writers a chance to explore more of Krypton's history), the return of Brainiac (James Marsters just rocks as an actor), and Lex finally going to the dark side (the episode DESCENT stands out). The writer's strike did shorten the season a little. I do think they underused Lana toward the end of season 7. Now this season marks Clark's last season in Smallville as season 8 sets it up for story elements Superman fans have known for decades.

SPECIAL FEATURES:
Deleted scenes are featured for over half of the episodes. Most are thankfully cut (many for pacing reasons).

Audio commentaries were recorded for PERSONA and SIREN- I wish they picked different episodes to record commentaries for.

SUPERGIRL: THE LAST DAUGHTER OF KRYPTON- a history of Supergirl in comics, film, and Smallville season 7 (interviews with writers and artists of the comic book, and the producers (and the girl who plays Kara) of SMALLVILLE
JIMMY ON JIMMY- Past and present actors (from the Adventures Of Superman TV series, the Superman films, Superman Returns, and SMALLVILLE) who play Jimmy talk about their experiences as the character and how Jimmy has changed in various versions.

Smallville Legends mobisodes (KARA AND THE CHRONICLES OF KRYPTON)- These animated mobisodes give a story of Kara's last day on Krypton and who caused it's destruction.
SMALLVILLE: VISIONS digital comic book takes place during the episode HERO.

FINAL ANALYSIS: SMALLVILLE Season 7 entertained and what i hear about season 8 makes me excited. The two featurettes are worth watching and so are the mobisodes.
