CREED II is perfect way to wrap up both the ROCKY series and the CREED movies since the story has nothing really else to prove. CREED II serves as a great sequel to CREED and ROCKY IV as it revisits the impact of the boxing matches have on Rocky, Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordon), and Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren) passing on his shame onto his son Viktor after all of these years. Creed also thinks he has something to prove as a boxer after he wins the WBC championship belt and must defend it. Life develops for him as he wants to marry his girlfriend who deals with pregnancy and the continued loss of her hearing. I think CREED II is even better than the last movie with some great editing in the climatic boxing match and some great character relationships developed throughout this latest chapter.

SPECIAL FEATURES:
FATHERS AND SONS- how family and the bonds between father and son is pivotal to this movie and the ROCKY/ CREED movies
CASTING VIKTOR DRAGO- a look at how the son of Ivan Drago was cast and how he was prepped to act the best as the son of the iconic Rocky bad guy Ivan Drago
THE WOMEN OF CREED II- Tessa Thompson and Phylicia Rashad talk about their strong female characters of the sequel and how they (the actors and director) wanted to make sure the women characters felt real and part of the plot
THE ROCKY LEGACY- Dolph Lundgren hosts this featurette about how innovative the ROCKY and CREED movies are, why they inspire people, and why the films are lasting the test of time 40 years later. Interviews with cast and crew, and boxer Sugar Ray Leonard are featured

Four deleted scenes including a coda to the climatic boxing match and Rocky reading a eulogy at a funeral

FINAL ANALYSIS: If you're a fan of the at least the first four ROCKY films and CREED (or at least loved CREED or ROCKY IV), you will probably love CREED II which is a great sequel which serves as a great way to end the ROCKY series of films if they don't make a CREED 3. I rather see them leave the CREED and ROCKY movies on a high point as I don't think the writers and actors have nothing else they need to do unless they come up with a really great story for CREED 3.
