IRON MAN ARMORED ADVENTURES is a cartoon series which re-imagines Tony stark, Pepper Potts, Rhodes, and the Mandarin as teenagers.  Tony is still Iron Man and Rhode is War Machine while Pepper becomes Rescue.   Nick Fury and SHIELD are also involved in this new version of the IRON MAN mythology which takes some details from Marvel Ultimates universe.  It took a little getting used to Tony Stark being a teenager instead of an egotistical billionaire playboy who becomes Iron Man.  The theme song does get on my nerves after a couple of listens.  This latest release has the last eight episodes of season two that features guest appearances from the Hulk and Doctor Doom in addition to providing an alien back story for the Mandarin’s power rings.

SPECIAL FEATURES:

Artwork Design Gallery for Iron Monger, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Makluan Aliens, and Vehicles is the only extra on the disc.

FINAL ANALYSIS:   IRON MAN ARMORED ADVENTURES is an interesting new take on the IRON MAN mythology, but I prefer the original comic continuity and the movies instead.   I wish the release did have more extras.
